These two pink bars appear to be very different in size, though they are actually the exact same:

WHAT JUST HAPPENED?? - The sloping graph drawn behind the pink bars has your brain believing each object is of a different size!

The red rectangles are actually the same dimensions, but they appear to shift the size of the black paper once it is moved...

Again we see context clues - such as the lines drawn around the red boxes to give them shape - telling our brain what to make of it all!
