There's An Island Full Of Cats That Almost Had A Cat Revolution!

Forget about the cat cafe, this is an ISLAND full of cats. A land mass.

There is an island in Japan called Aoshima. But you might know it better by its' nickname- Cat Island.

"Hello two-legger. Do you bring food?"

Aoshima is populated mostly by cats; there's a 6-1 human to cat ratio. That means, for every one person, there's six cats. That's a lot of yarn.

"I am Mittens! King of Cat Island. All look upon me and despair!"

Because Aoshima is an Island, they have to get their food delivered specially, but recently there's been a lot of bad weather. This means that this month they were a little short.

The cats weren't pleased about this turn of events; in fact many workers feared that there may soon be a feline uprising of epic proportions. So one worker tweeted the world "please send food to Aoshima!"

"Snuffles! Light the beacons! We ride at dawn!"

The internet responded with this; an overwhelming number of donations.

The cats are very grateful, and have, for now, decided to cancel the kitty uprising.

"You please us with your offering, two-legger. We shall, for now, be merciful."

They are in fact, good for food until April. Good job, internet.
