Let's face it: we are living in a world dominated by The Weeknd and there's nothing we could do about it. He's already given us EVERYTHING when back in 2019 he released "After Hours", with great hits like "Blinding lights", "Save Your Tears" or "Heartless". Now, he's back with "Dawn FM" an album that's really gonna change everything in the music industry. It's pop, it's catchy, it's dreamy, it has nostalgia on it and we love it. So why don't we give it a try and rank every song in "Dawn FM"? Let's do it!

12 Don't Break My Heart

Not a remarkable song, not even a good song. This is a song that could have been easily erased from the album and everything would just stay the same. Not any other song has this effect on "Dawn FM" because even though some songs might be weaker, they're great fillers or even likeable songs. Sorry, "Don't break my heart", not my fave!

11 Starry Eyes

A promise to a girl and a lovely ballad that if it has at least half of the amazing melody from others in the album, it'd be a masterpiece. Maybe it's the fact that it doesn't actually feel like a song, and it feels more like a very long closure. Definitely, something it could have been better.

10 Is There Someone Else?

I gotta confess that those sharp sound at the beginning of the song really confuses me and I didn't really get where the song was going. It's a flat song, with no really some high point on it but that doesn't make it less enjoyable than other songs from 'Dawn FM'. There's just something missing on it... maybe a strong bridge? Some strength in the chorus? We'll never know!

9 Best Friend

A simple lyric with a "friendzone" theme that really gave us nothing extraordinary new ('You don't wanna have sex as friends no more,') , but with a melody that gathers some vintage, disco, and urban sound that fits really well all together.

8 Gasoline

An odd beginning for an album with The Weeknd's voice so clearly changed but... does that really bother us at all? It feels weird, it feels dramatic and even chaotic to follow, but then, when the chorus came, we definitely feel OKAY. All those synths, drums, and keyboards, however, are a great introduction to the album. Not our fave, but a grower indeed!

7 I Heard You're Married (Feat. Lil Wayne)

Close your eyes and you will hear the producer behind this song, you'll definitely do. Calvin Harris, The Weeknd, and Lil Wayne make a perfect threesome in this song with some disco-funk vibes and a lyric so catchy, so passionate that fits great with the melody. I dare to say that without including Lil Wayne in the song, It would be still great.... but I don't truly mind him on the song.

6 How Do I Make You Love Me?

LET'S GO TO THE DANCEFLOOR! The Weeknd's yell before the chorus, that keyboard majestically sounding, his voice changing like a chameleon... I don't know, there's something so energetic on this song that will make you get on your feet as soon as it plays. And yes, of course, THE TRANSITION TO 'TAKE MY BREATH' made up with those drums, and little gasps...OH, I LOVE IT!

5 Sacrifice

This song is a great choice for an album release...that makes it even the obvious option. Am I even complaining? Not at all. It's a great choice because it's a great song. It has a 90s sound, almost as if Michael Jackson has had produced or made the song. There's some guitar, disco, and even funk sound in the song that makes it another BOP from The Weeknd,

4 Here We Go...Again (feat. Tyler The Creator)

The smoothness of this song as it begins...Oh, I almost hear my heart breaking with that sound. The Weeknd's soft and almost broken voice suits perfectly in this sad, melancholic song. There's something so beautifully progressive in the song... it really gets better and better as the seconds pass. "And my new girl, she a movie star", ow, that's gorgeous, The Weeknd.

3 Take My Breath

This five minutes long track will get you hype alongside the entirety of it. It's a rush of adrenaline in your blood that's gonna make you dance, move your feet and shake your head. Take My Breath gathered all those dancefloor details that will make it become a huge BOP

2 Less Than Zero

Picture yourself in a vintage videogame, or maybe in an old tv show...Well, 'Less Than Zero' is so charged with emotions, is so full of comfortable and delicious details that it wouldn't surprise us if The Weeknd decided to make it a next single. The synths, the drums, and his voice make it a delightful song to play on repeat. Let yourself go with 'Less than zero'.

1 Out Of Time

Close your eyes, this song will make you live your own Prom. It's magic. It's a song where you can yell a pleasant exclamation because the song, from its very first chord, is worth it. It's a ballad with a strong 80's sound and we couldn't ask for anything more. Lyrically, we've heard songs like it before, but the sound, the production...ugh! It has so many details, it's smooth and it's impregnated with FELLINGS.
