This Bride's Father Was Murdered, So The Man Who Had His Donated Heart Walked Her Down The Aisle

2006 was a hard year for Jenni Stepien. Her father was shot and killed one day on his way home from work as a robbery was in progress. The two were very close.

Jenni mourned and then moved on with her life, finding a wonderful man in the process. When the time came for Jenni to get married, she knew exactly who she wanted to walk her down the aisle; the man who had received her fathers heart.

His name is Arthur Thomas, and he was the lucky recipient of Michael Stepien's donation back in 2006. He wrote to the Stepiens to thank them for their help. And when Jenni wrote him back, he couldn't say no.

Said Thomas; "“What greater honor could a person have than walking the daughter of the man who’s given his heart to him. I can’t imagine a greater honor."

And Jenni? She was happy to have her Dad still walk her down the aisle; "“To be able to bring my dad home and have him at my wedding was an absolute dream come true!” A great day was had by all. And we're sure that wherever Michael is now, he was proud to have a part of him attend his daughters Wedding Day. Congrats Jenni!
