Dog Meat farms aren't common worldwide, but there are 17,000 in Korea alone. Over 2 million dogs are transported there every year. But these guys made it out just in time.

Nami Kim got in contact with the Humane Society in Minnesota, and they helped coordinate the rescue. Over 300 dogs were rescued, and among them these ten tiny puppies.

Getting the pups from South Korea to the US was pretty difficult, but Kim managed it!

The pups have ALL been adopted from the Minnesota humane society. One woman got in line outside the shelter at 6:30 am to claim one of the pups! I think it's safe to say everyone's happy to have met each other!
