Wine now comes in red, white...and blue?

No, it's not a Fourth of July gimmick! It's a real thing!

You might think this is a hoax, that would be fair..but you'd be wrong! You can actually drink this wine! It was made deliberately! Feel like a sea-witch whilst you get drunk-what more could you ask for?

I feel like it's right on the boundary of disgusting and sort of awesome?

Spanish wine makers Gik (yes, really) used a food research team from Basque University to help with the concept. The wine is made, not out of octopus ink, but out of red AND white grapes from across Spain!

It also makes a charming hat, apparently?

The blue pigment comes from a pigment found in the skin of the grapes-so it's totally natural!

I know it looks like it might be poison, but it's natural!

Bottles of Gik will soon be available across Europe, and will cost about $12. No word yet on an American release, but fingers crossed! Our last question is-what would you eat with this?
