Football super God Lionel Messi was diagnosed with a torn knee ligament that will keep him out for up to eight weeks. Bad news for their upcoming La Liga and Champions League games but hopefully for Barça he could make it for El Clássico.

United are sitting pretty

Red Devils fans will be pleased that United are at the summit of the Premier League again. With Champions League coming up at Old Trafford this week it's a good time to be a United fan again.

Manchester City lose again

It's now three losses in four for Manchester City. Juventus must have left something dodgy in the form of a hex as City have lost both Premier League games since the Italians' visit.

6

Last gasp winner shocks Dortmund

Dortmund should have taken all three points at home to newly-promoted Darmstadt, especially in the week leading up to Der Klassiker with Bayern, but all credit to the visitors. It may have knocked BVB's confidence, though.

It's 100 for Lewandowski

After scoring five goals against Wolfsburg earlier in the week, Robert Lewandowski hit two more at weekend and became the fastest foreigner to score 100 Bundesliga goals - he did it in 168 matches.

Schalke are on fire. It's the best start to a Bundesliga campaign for 44 years with 16 points from a possible 21.

Inter aren't perfect

It felt like Fiorentina were the home side when they came to Milan and cheekily took a 4-1 result home with them. Both clubs now share the top of the table.

Juve are left chasing again

Juventus are now ten points behind leaders Fiorentina and Inter as they slumped to yet another loss at weekend, to Napoli. It's three losses in six games for Juve and just five points from a possible 18.
