The biggest fashion event of the year is right around the corner. We're obviously talking about the Met Gala, AKA - the Oscars of the fashion world. If you've been living under a rock for the past few years, you might not understand the excitement and anticipation to the Gala, but that's what we're here for! Right before the Met ball begins, you have to learn some facts about the prestigious event. Pay attention, we'll test your knowledge later on.

Let's go over some general information - The Met Gala takes place at the Met museum (well, duh) as an opening event for the Costume Institute spring exhibition, and occurs every first Monday of May. The VIP guest list includes the biggest celebrities, influencers and key people from the fashion industry, and they all have to dress according to the exhibition's theme (which is always extravagant). We're definitely waiting for our invitation.

It's a kind of theatricality, extravagant appearance and unapologetic way of life. "This year's theme is about self-expression and individuality", said Anna Wintour in an interview for Vogue's YouTube channel. She continued saying that she's We're hoping to see something outrageous and fun. So are we, Anna, so are we.
