Meet Facebook's New "Reactions"- Likes Are So 2015!

People have been asking for something other than the "like" button for awhile now. Mark Zuckerberg has heard our cry and answered us.

Meet Facebook "reactions".

The Like - This is still the staple of Facebook interaction. The number of likes display has been replaced with a number of reactions display. We are sad to see "Likes" dethroned, but it is well worth the innovation.

Love - This one is going to prove to be interesting. It's way more serious than a like, but at the same time it's not. Here's to hoping this one starts a few quality online relationships.

Haha - LOL is so overused. I'm happy that this one is part of the family. It should save a lot of comment space.

Wow - Reactions are proving to be an extremely useful way of displaying a complete range of emotions in an easy to understand way. Sometimes things aren't a "lol" or a "<3". Sometimes things surprise us. That's where this one comes in.

Sad - It looks like Facebook is trying to remove the highly edited perfectionist online personas that we all have with this one. It's ok to be sad sometimes. Now we can display that with a fun emoji.

Angry - Ever wanted to throw your laptop out the window after watching a Trump video? Now you don't have to. Sometimes things make us angry and now we have a easy way to express it.
