Google's latest project is quite small, but it also pretty grand. You can now use Google maps street view to explore Hamburg's Miniatur Wunderland, the world's largest miniature railway.

2

Miniatur Wunderland is home to over 13 kilometers of track and over 200,000 model citizens.

3

Google partnered with Germany's own Ubilabs in order to bring the project to life. It's pretty massive. Multiple areas are open to explore including an airport and a street-fair.

4

Google hopes to add entire countries in the near future. Italy is projected to be available to explore sometime in the coming months. Here's a video explaining the project and process of making it come to life.
