This High School Track Team Decided To Do Something Awesome And Take Some Very Special Friends A Long To Practice!

Last week, the track athletes of St Joseph's High School, decided to switch up their regular practice in the most awesome way possible...by bringing along some puppies!
I'm sure they all improved on their running times!

Each of the runners was paired with a dog from Santa Barbara Animal Shelter. The dogs appreciated the exercise, as they spend a lot of time cooped up to maximize on space. The track team ran the pups for a couple of miles and everyone had a great time!
Seriously this must have been so much fun!

The kids' Coach posted on Facebook that he wasn't sure who was more excited at this; this kids or the pups! We're pretty sure that many of these dogs will have homes pretty soon! Nice work, St Joseph's Track Team!
I'm amazed no one ran home with their new best friend!
