1

A Spice Girls item

Pencil cases...rulers, trading cards, stickers. Almost every girl had at least one Spice Girls item. How else will we show our devotion? Spice Girls stuff was undoubtedly on everyone's Christmas list in the 90's.

2

A Nano or Tamagotchi

We never went anywhere without our pet. The second it beeped we would pull it out of our pocket and give it food. Our parents would regularly bug us to put it away at the dinner table. We were glued to our tamagotchis like Gen-Z is glued to their Instagrams.

3

Lip Smackers

Every self-respecting 90's girl had a massive collection of lip smackers. The flavours were out of this world. Anyone remember Amethyst Sour Grape'? Or Oatmeal Cookie? Watermelon ruled.

4

The "cute" Pokemon cards

We weren't as obsessed with Pokemon as the guys, but we had our own collection of the cutest pokemon characters! We would only trade for the cute characters like Jigglypuff and Eevee. What's the point of Pokemon otherwise?

5

Babysitter's club books

We used to whiz through these books like we were grade A students. We wrote most of our book reports on the adventures of the babysitters. They made babysitting seem fun. We were all obsessed with these books and secretly dreamed that we too were apart of the Babysitter's Club.

6

Gel pens

Metallic, milky and bold. Gel pens made writing cool. They were the only way to write notes to each other in class. Our homework was always so pretty...

7

Nintendo 64

We had all the classics, Donkey Kong, Mario Kart, Mario 64, Yoshi Story, Kirby. It wasn't long until we became experts in video games. Weekends were for eating junk food and playing N64 until your eyes turned square.

8

Beanie Babies

Every time you went to the store, you begged your mom for a beanie baby. It didn't even matter which one it was, you just needed one. You had more beanie babies than you knew what to do with. Oh, and you never took off their tags because what if they became valuable one day?

9

A Neopets account

Everyone wanted a Poogle! Free omelettes, guilds and shopping for neggs. It was the best way to kill time after school. You don't even wanna think about the amount of time you "wasted" on this site.

10

CD Walkman

Before iPods, there was CD walkmans. You would take it everywhere with you and sink into a trans of tunes. You also would carry around a case of burned CDs. Just burn your music off of Napster and you're good to go.

11

Push pops

You weren't considered "cool" unless you had a push pop on you. Everyone had a push pop on the go that they would keep in their drawer. Its the ultimate portable candy! Blue Raspberry was the best!

12

Beaded curtains

The 70's came back with the popularity of beaded curtains! You got your curtains from Spencer's Gifts like most other girls. These made it nearly impossible to sneak out late at night. At least they looked cool!

13

A copy of the original Sims game

Who could forget this masterpiece of a computer game. You would spend hours...days even, on this game. You were low-key addicted to it and would even opt to skip spending time with friends to make sure your virtual friends are doing well.
