Last night, possible future first lady Melania Trump addressed the Republican National Convention. She gave a speech as is the custom, but some people are calling some serious shenanigans on Melania...

Some are saying that Melania Trump's speech bares a striking resemblance to one given by Michelle Obama to the Democratic National Convention in 2008

The White House and the East Wing have refused to comment on the situation

We don't want to call it either way, so here are their speeches, side by side, presented without comment. First is Melania-

And here is Michelle's speech to the DNC in 2008;

But the similarities don't end there; in a section on children Michelle said this;

Melania had a section about her children...only fair. And it went like this...

No comment. None.

Many have come to Melania's defense, including New Jersey Governor Chris Christie who said he 'couldn't see it.' The RNC has denied plagiarism allegations, saying that the speech was written by Mrs. Trump herself, and a small team of writers.

We checked, and no, Michelle Obama was not on the writing team.

Melania isn't the only one being accused of plagiarism; Donald Trump's tweet last night was very reminiscent of one written by Obama a few years ago...
