When I start with a new character I typically play a:

What is your idea of a good LARP-fight?

What is a beautiful LARP-death?

Your secret weapon?

The scene I always wanted to play is:

Your costume?

Biggest LARP frustration?

Worst LARP-plot ever:

8 roles that you can play as a NPC. Choose one!

Favorite problem:

Cliche character?

Oneliner?

I always take with me:

A good setting provides:

"Let me explain... LARP is: ...

"THE ENEMY IS COMING!" But no fear, because you are here to protect us! Unless you are a NPC of course. In that case: good luck crushing those petty players!
Being able to carry a sword, shield and mail makes your day and you love being able to apply your battle skills once in a while. When the situation gets tense you can't wait for the adrenaline-rush of a good fight.

"But... how could you?". The more tears, the better the scene. Anger, sadness, fear, happiness: you love to experience it and truly undergo the experience that LARP can provide. Epic scenes are only epic if they provide you with a reason to react emotionally. Guilt, intimidation or flattery are your deadliest weapons and the people who play with you know that sadistic/masochistic sparkle in your eye when you sense drama.

"That. was. awesome.". LARP gives you the change to do all kinds of crazy shit and have fun with your friends. You can finally try being drunk all the time or pull pranks on other! A pirate in love? A human who thinks he's a fairy? Winners! Pity those near you when you get bored...

Powerplayer

"And we won again!". With you on their team its hard to lose. You know the system and rules and you are able to apply them. When things go wrong you always know what to do and if problems escalate you always have some spells that can turn anything into dust. You like being in the center of attention and you try to make sure that whatever happens, you can deal with it. A true leader.

Loreplayer

Loreplayer

"In a far land, long ago..." You love nothing more than experiencing and learning about the fantasy-world that you play in. You know the lor, understand the metaphysics and you appreciate the stories people write. If there ever is a mysterious puzzle or a riddle the group needs to solve, people look to you first. When you have the chance, you love to share your knowledge with others and once in a while you like to add a little bit of your own ideas. To improve the world, of course.

Roleplayer

Roleplayer

"Well, who do we have here..?". You love acting and creating beautiful scenes. Scenes don't have to be especially sweet, gruesome or epic as long as they tell the story and you can play your role. You definitely do not take the easiest road and live for plot-twists. The psychological character development is the best reward. Nothing is better than being able to create tension or start a conflict because hey; who needs a solution when you can roleplay for hours?

Socialplayer

"Pass the beer!". Of course, LARP is a serious game but it also is a great possibility to hang with people you usually wouldn't see. You love playing with your friends and working as a team. This doesn't have to be in a battle but also applies on the campfire evenings with lots of good stories and laughter!
