Male Celebrities who you think might have Liposuction

Over the past 20 years, males have become an increasingly larger percentage of those who undergo plastic surgery. It is not uncommon for us to see patients in the office for concerns regarding skin care, rhinoplasty, Botox and most frequently liposuction.
 
Liposuction is one of the most common procedures performed across the United States and frequently the top procedure requested by men. Most of this has been prompted by a desire to stay youthful and often competitive in the job market. Much of this push stems from examples seen in Hollywood as male celebrities are increasingly body conscious. With social media, as well as the paparazzi, capturing every moment of a celebrity's life, the pressure to maintain six-pack abs and an athletic figure are increasingly high. 
 
Much of male celebrities power in Hollywood is based on appearance and sex appeal. Thus, these individuals need to maintain the illusion of perfection 24 hours a day. As lives become more and more complicated with travel and responsibilities, many men in Hollywood choose plastic surgery to help give them that extra competitive edge. Although most celebrities do not publicize their decisions, some of these transformations are too dramatic to be with diet and exercise alone.

Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise has needed to maintain six-pack abs over the course of his entire career. With the Mission:Impossible franchise as well as many other action movies, Tom has been forced to maintain excellent shape. It's possible that, at age 55, he has elected to add small areas of liposuction in addition to a rigorous diet and exercise routine.

Mickey Rourke

Mickey Rourke is another celebrity who is very familiar with plastic surgery. He has undergone multiple procedures and been fairly open about his involvement with plastic surgery. As a former boxer, many of his roles involved athletic endeavors. It is likely that he has undergone some level section procedures of the past in conjunction with well-publicized facial procedures.

Gerard Butler

Gerard Butler was famous for his role in the movie The 300. The cinematography featured many of the actors shirtless and featuring the male figure prominently. Recent photographs of the 47-year-old actor have come out showing him in the less than ideal shape. Thus, it is likely that liposuction may have been part of his preparation to become so defined for some of his movie roles. 

As men age, it is increasingly more challenging to achieve the results that may have been relatively easy in the 20s. Thus, many Hollywood male celebrities are likely to have resorted to liposuction to help create their desired physique. The pressures are quite high in the movie business not just for women, and thus men are less likely to talk about this but are almost certainly undergoing procedures to stay competitive on the big screen.
