Kara McCullough, Miss D.C. and a scientist at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, was crowned Miss USA on Sunday and gave a divisive answer when asked during the question-and-answer whether she thought health care was a right or a privilege.

"I'm definitely going to say it's a privilege. As a government employee, I am granted health care and I see first-hand that for one to have health care, you have to have jobs," McCullough said.

A lot of vocal people on social media were not terribly pleased with the contestant's answer but it does seem to align quite a bit with some of the political views most prominent in the current administration.
