Keep me on edge with something dark and unusual. I like to think about all the ways something can go wrong so that I can be prepared to react. I may or may not be looking forward to the zombie apocalypse. If given a choice, I tend toward tech over human interaction, but finding my niche group reminds me movies are always better with friends. I’ll have a soda please. Or is there beer?

Inspire me with a unique perspective on the human experience. I’ve seen that the world can be a dark, ambiguous place, so I curate an aesthetic that makes me feel safe and connected. I prefer film and vinyl for the vague sense of superiority they give me, but also because holding tangible, nostalgic objects in my hands is good for balancing my anxiety. I’ll take an espresso and a Topo Chico.

I prefer Tarantino to Michael Bay, but I won’t complain if you give me something easy and satisfying, the movie equivalent of hash browns and scrambled eggs on Saturday morning. I’ll take a white mocha - that’s like a cappuccino, right?

I'm here for films that teach me something new and challenge my view of the world. I love the History Channel and am always ready to debate the latest headlines. I read the Atlantic and the New Yorker and visit art museums a few times a year. My definition of “cool” is stylish sneakers. I’m not a snob, I just know more than you. I’d like an americano, thanks.
