Things aren't looking great for your resolution.

Based on previous form, you're likely to end up with Christmas dinner leftovers that outlast your resolution. Of course, this year could be your opportunity to buck that trend, once and for all—but, again, things aren't looking great right now.

One Week

One Week

One week doesn't sound like much—try think of it as two percent of a year. Actually, perhaps a week is better.

While you're not likely to go the distance, your answers at least indicate that you'll keep up appearances for a little while. That said, once you're back in your work schedule and the festive period is forgotten, your resolution will be promptly dumped, too.

One Month

One Month

Some people will tell you that your resolution won't last a week, and you'll prove them wrong—but only just.

By the time February rolls in, the cold weather will have erased all recollection of promises made on and around New Year's Eve. Resolutions will be among the first things forgotten.

Three Months

Three Months

Your answers point to a strong start, which will ultimately sputter out well before summer. Good try, sort of.

The good news is that if your resolution pertains to your health, you might actually have done some good for your body—and you can probably get out of that gym subscription now three months have passed.

Six Months

Six Months

You'll make it beyond the halfway point of 2016, only to falter before the year comes to a close. Close, but no cigar.

A bit of an extra push is what's needed if you want to make sure your resolution can go the distance. Don't lose sight of the prize towards the end of the year!

All Year!

All Year!

You're about to accomplish the impossible: you're going to uphold your New Year's resolution.

Based on everything you've said, it seems more than likely that you're going to be able to see your resolution through into 2017 and beyond. Very well done—now just make sure it really happens that way.
