"There's So Much More Than This, Scully"

I know it probably isn't the most romantic thing, starting with a shooting, but we're talking about Mulder and Scully. Nothing says "I love you" more than a bullet through the shoulder, right? Oh, and the way she takes care of him afterwards.

(Season 2, Episode 25 - Anasazi)

Who doesn't want to be kissed like this on New Year's Eve? I just love the way he quietly watches her and the way she smiles at him before he leans in to kiss her. I really wish we would've seen more of this and less pretending not to love each other, getting abducted or killed. I know the whole back and forth is also part of what made the whole thing so unique but, as a deeply romantic at heart, I just wish we'd seen so much more of this.

(Season 7, Episode 4 Millenium)

This must be one of my favorite scenes of all time. Scully and Mulder cuddle in bed, in the house they now live in. She laughs at his "scratchy beard" and I don't know what I love most about this scene. The cuteness, poor Scully (or Gillian for that matter) having a bad cold and sounding even cuter or the way she opens her eyes when she kisses him. Either way I'll never get tired of re-watching this scene.

(The X-Files: I want to believe)

This is just one of the bittersweet scenes that gets a little more painful each time you watch it, especially when you know what'll happen a little later. Scully feels poorly - neither of them knowing that she's pregnant at that time - and goes to Mulder's room. He cuddles her and keeps her warm.

(Season 7, Episode 22 Requiem)

The whole cancer arc was rather painful, hitting us right in the feels. One thing that was particularly touching was the way they hugged each other and Mulder comforting Scully.

(Season 4, Episode 14 Memento Mori)

Need I really say more? My heart broke for Scully when she was in tears after her last IVF attempt failed and Mulder was there to comfort her, reminding her never to give up on a miracle.

(Season 8, Episode 13 Per Manum)

I love this episode. 1940's Scully definitely steals the show in this one. I believe Mulder really meant what he said at the end of the episode, also knowing no one would believe him. He tells Scully he loves her and her reaction is just as we'd have expected... "Oh brother..." not without rolling her eyes at him.

Scully and Mulder. An empty baseball field. In the middle of the night. It doesn't get cuter than this.

The way they look at each other simply melts my heart.

(Season 5, Episode 5 Post-Modern Prometheus)

Mulder meets William for the first time and they kiss - probably the first real kiss ever. I guess what brings tears to my eyes each time is Gillian telling the story of how they both just stood there, hugging each other crying when they realized it was over...

(Season 8, Episode 21 Existence)

"I owe you everything Scully and you owe me nothing". This scene kills me. There was so much angst and emotion and they almost kissed until the damn bee ruined it all. I'll never get over this.

(The X-Files: Fight the Future)

Scully falls asleep on Mulder's shoulder after an eventful episode. We all know how this night ended and "All Things" must be one of my favorite episodes.. It is so touching. The way he looks at her when he finds her asleep, softly brushes the hair out of her face and covers her with a blanket.

(Season 7, Episode 17 All Things)

Yes, the one where Skinner just stands by, watching awkwardly. The one where Mulder tries to fool them at first, the one where he leans in to kiss her and softly caresses her cheek.

(Season 9, Episode 19 The Truth)

Scully cuddles Mulder up in her lap after they're forced to spend the night in the woods. She also sings to him.
