NBC's Midnight, Texas is a cross between Twin Peaks and True Blood, according to IMDB. This show may not even be on your radar yet, but it should be. Not only should you know about it, but you should be excited about it as well. Here are 11 reasons why:
François Arnaud
François (Blindspot and Borgias) has been nominated for a Canadian Screen Award (the Canadian equivalent to the Emmys) for his role in Borgias. He will be playing Manfred Bernardo. His character is a mystery, and he's new in town. He will be adding some smolder to the show for sure.
Arielle Kebbel
The very gorgeous Arielle has had many TV and film roles through the last 13 years. She has been in Gilmore Girls, 90210, John Tucker Must Die, Vampire Diaries, Ballers, and even a short role in True Blood. There isn't much we can glean about her character, Olivia, from the released pics. It will be interesting to see what her character will be like.
Jason Lewis
If you ever saw him in Sex and the City you could never forget this hunk. He also appeared in Charmed, Brothers and Sisters, and more recently the two Lifetime movies, If There Be Thorns and Seeds of Yesterday. Jason will be playing Joe Strong, who appears to be a different interpretation of an angel. With or without wings, we will be thrilled to see him in this series.
Sarah Ramos
For those who watched Parenthood, you know how great of an actress Sarah is. She has also been in American Dreams and Runaway. She will be playing Creek. It is hard to tell what ability she may have. I believe it has something to do with the forces of the elements. That is my guess. What is yours? Regardless, her addition will round out this cast nicely.
Niels Arden Oplev
The series will be directed by Niels. He has directed the Swedish version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, the pilots for Under the Dome and Mr. Robot, and he is also currently working on a Flatliners remake. His talent will be sure to add to the quality of the already impressive cast and story line.
