Story: One afternoon, a windstorm swept through the town of Perilous, Nevada. 1 hour later a van full of LV tourists turned off on a side road to take a break. In the middle of a truck path, they found Lauren Guzman's body, a worker at a nearby gas station. When the NHP arrived, they discovered an fence post torn out of the ground. Blood on the post matched a gash in Lauren's head. One officer examined the gash and the few round drops of blood that had fallen from the wound. "Looks like it got taken by the wind and just slammed into her." "Maybe," said his partner (YOU). "Before we say it's an accident, let's look around." Are you ready to help solve the crime?
This is Lauren Guzman.
Okay, let's check out the crime scene...You examine the body and find her wallet containing pictures of three different men. You find their names written on the back. Orlando Guzman (her husband), Teddy Big Wolf (her work partner), her best friend Annie Nunziata, and Ralston North (her boss) Who do you check out first?
You decide to check out the husband. Orlando Guzman. Lauren's husband seemed devastated. "Lauren and I had our differences, but we were working them out. She promised she wouldn't visit Teddy anymore. This morning we had a real nice breakfast. Then she walked over to the gas station. She said she might come home early if there weren't many cars. She must have been on her way home when the windstorm came." You ask why he had asked her not to see Teddy anymore and where he lived. "He lives a house on 1802 Braker Street. To me, it seemed like they were something more than friends, and I didn't like that." he answered. Should he be a suspect?

You decide on Teddy Big Wolf. Where does he live?
You now decide to check out Teddy Big Wolf. Teddy Big Wolf seemed equally grief-stricken. The news seemed to shock him into an unexpected candor. "She was leaving him," Teddy told the officers. "Today. Lauren and I were running away. My sister was buying this place from me. You can ask her. Lauren was going to leave the stand early today and we were just going to drive off without telling him." You ask him the last time he saw Lauren. "I went on lunch break, but when I came back, she was gone. I thought she was at my place so I came here before the storm." he answers. Should he still a suspect?
You also ask Teddy where Ralston North and Annie Nunziata live. You find out Ralston lives above the gas station and Annie lives in the same neighborhood. "723 Lillian Street. Only, like, 8 blocks from here." Who do you check out first?
You decide on Annie Nunziata. Where does she live?
Annie was the worst. As soon as you told her the news, she started bawling. "I don't know how this could happen! I mean, I just stopped by the gas station this morning to pick up breakfast. We talked for a good 30 minutes and then I left for work. I just came back 10 minutes ago. You can ask my husband." You ask her if Lauren had seemed on edge about anything. "Well, she did seem kinda tense, but I put it off as stress." You thank her for her time and start off to Ralston's house. Where is he?
You stop at Ralston's "house," above the gas station. Ralston North was also devastated, which made you instantly suspicious. "She was just such a wonderful woman. So full of life. She didn't say anything about where she was going. Business was dead slow and the wind was really picking up. I shouldn't have let her walk off by herself. It was all my fault." You thank him for his time without anymore questions.
"Well?" Your partner asks as you return to the patrol car. "Was it an accident? Or was it murder?" "There's just one important clue," you say. "And that tells me it's murder. It also tells me who did it."
