When a child kicks the back of your chair in a plane, how do you react?

When someone cuts in front of you in line, what do you do?

When someone doesn't replace the empty toilet paper roll, how do you react?

When you're working in the office and someone's phone keeps going off, what do you do?

When you're watching a movie and someone won't stop talking, how do you react?

When someone has their read receipts on and then doesn't respond to your texts, what do you do?

When someone is late (again) for an important event, how do you react?

Movement Meditation

Movement Meditation

Based on how you react to the annoying situations we described, we believe movement meditation could be a perfect meditation style for you to try out! While most assume this means yoga and yoga only, movement meditation applies to any movement - as long as you use mindfulness and a slow pace. The most important thing is to use that movement to bring your mind to the present.

Focused Meditation

Focused Meditation

Based on how you react to the annoying situations we described, we believe focused meditation could be a perfect meditation style for you to try out! This form of meditation is fairly simple, because we use the object of our breath to focus attention. Similarly, we can focus on an object, sound, or sensation rather than completely trying to clear our minds without a specific focal point (sometimes the hardest part of meditation).

Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness Meditation

Based on how you react to the annoying situations we described, we believe mindfulness meditation could be a perfect meditation style for you to try out! This style is the most popular, though doesn't mean it's the easiest. In order to achieve full peace in this practice, we must fully dive into the technique. Mindfulness meditation is a mental training practice that teaches your mind to slow down any racing thoughts, let go of negativity, and calm both your body and your mind. Just an FYI - this practice involves deep breathing which may be new to some, though there are many great videos to find with a simple search on how to do this!
