You are a Gold!

You are a Gold!

Golds are the natural Queens of the Weyr and rule over all those who reside inside. They are naturally dominating over others and are incredibly territorial. Holding a certain viciousness in their attacks that other colors seem to lack. They rely most on their instincts, meaning they do not take to any challenger well. Often leading to the gold to kill or chase them off. It also crosses over to how they care for their young, for they are highly protective and possessive of their young, not even allowing their mates near, and they have been known to destroy the eggs and young of rival females whenever they get the chance.

Golds are the Giants amongst dragons. The smallest gold towering above even the largest bronze. They range from 50-55m in length and are the strongest amongst the dragons. Fighting one as another color is a very poor decision. However, due to their position as the main and only egg-layer within the Weyr, It is very, very unlikely they will chew Firestone.

You are a Bronze!

You are a Bronze!

Bronzes are the largest males of the Pernese Dragons. Being nearly as aggressive as a Gold, it would not be a smart idea to cross one. They rely on their instincts, needing to be on top, needing to be the best. For when the Queen rises, they can not help but to follow in hopes to catch her. If they are lucky and become mated, and become Weyrleader, to the Queen, for a whole turn they have an overwhelming need to protect the Queen, and ignoring the Dragonets. Though they do have a tendency to boast and be rather proud of how large a clutch their current mate has.  However, even in their instinctual fog they know not to get to close to the Queen as she is nesting. For he would surely die.

These dragons are the second largest amongst the dragons and range from 40-45m in length. Being some of the bulkiest dragons around. If they chew on Firestone, they have the hottest flames of any dragon.

You are a Ruby!

You are a Ruby!

Ruby's, to put it lightly, are a less intense version of a Gold. Out of all the colors, other than another Gold, they are most likely to challenge a the current Queen. They are more likely to speak out against a Gold then outright fight one. And are not as dominated by their instincts as a Bronze or Gold. Allowing them to protect their Weyr's with a certain care that larger colors seem to lack. If they have offspring, they are very protective of their young yet unlike Golds, they have a looser leash and even allow their mates to approach. Not too close of course. They're even known to adopt another's clutch, however they are highly likely to destroy a golden egg or hatchling if it's among the adopted clutch.

Ruby's are the second largest females of Pernese dragons and the third largest. And, in some cases, even be able to hold their own against a Gold They are 36-39m in length. If they chew firestone, they become infertile for a turn.

Your a Brown!

Your a Brown!

Browns are the second largest males of Pernese dragons. They are generally calmer then a Bronze and are often compared to a Ruby in this way. They are more numerous then a Bronze and and so assist the Weyr in anyway they can. When a Queen rises they can't help but follow, showcasing a side to them that rarely comes out, the need to be on top and catch her. If they become mated her for a turn, they will grow protective of her, not to the level of a Bronze. But it's still there. They'll still give the Queen distance however, as she's very aggressive.

Browns are the fourth largest dragons in Pern. So while they're strong, they can easily be overpowered by a Bronze or Gold. They span from 30-33m in length. And when chewing on Firestone they produce a basic flame, about as strong as a Ruby's.

Blue

Blue

Blues are the second smallest of the Pernese dragons. Do to their size they are often not allowed to hold a guard role in clans, and instead provide help and aid to the Weyr by other means. These are one of the more mellow and submissive dragons. Often following orders well, but will still easily speak their minds. Females of this color are never allowed to rise in a Weyr. That right reserved only for Golds and maybe Rubys. Males of this color do have instincts to chase after a Queen that rises, however its not as strong for them as it is for a Bronze or Brown. They can easily resist the urge to rise.

Being the second smallest of the dragons, they often have to group up with larger dragons or many small dragons to take down a larger foe. Blues span 20-25 meters in length. They can produce a basic flame but it is neither as strong as a Bronze's, nor is it as weak as a Green's flame.

Green

Green

Greens are the smallest Pernese dragons and because of that they are often seen as the weakest. They are often very submissive creatures. Females of this color are never allowed to rise in a Weyr. That right reserved only for Golds and maybe Rubys. Males of this color do have instincts to chase after a Queen that rises, however its not as strong for them as it is for a Bronze or Brown. They can easily resist the urge to rise.

Being the smallest of the dragons, they often have to group up with larger dragons or many small dragons to take down a larger foe. Greens span 10-17 meters in length. They can produce a small flame, however it as weakest amongst all the dragons.
