Lupita Gonzalez was alive and well in Bakersfield, California when she ran across something strange: her picture on funeral jars around town.

The jars using her picture said her name was "Enriquetta Nunez" and that she had died in Mexico and her family needed donations to bring her body back to the U.S.

Scammers seem to have taken the photo of Gonzalez from her Facebook page.

She is now working with police and local store owners to find the con artists.
