Jenna Bush Hager, former first daughter and current NBC news correspondent, recently spoke out on Twitter in opposition to Trump's travel ban against people from seven predominantly Muslim countries.
The source of her words, however, may surprise you. She tweeted a photo of a speech her father, George W. Bush, gave at an Islamic Center shortly after 9/11, adding her own emphasis on "This is not the America I know."

In the speech Bush called for people to remember that Muslims are not terrorists and that the heart of the religion of Islam is peace, that there are millions of American Muslims who make the U.S. a better place.
America counts millions of Muslims amongst our citizens, and Muslims make an incredibly valuable contribution to our country. Muslims are doctors, lawyers... members of the military, entrepreneurs... And they need to be treated with respect.
George W. Bush
