Oral Stage

Freud says you're stuck in the Oral Stage! The Oral Stage is the first stage of psychosexual development, spanning from birth until the age of one year. During this time the infant's mouth, i.e. the tendency to place objects in the mouth. Those stuck in stage are sometimes gullible, immature, and manipulative, however they are also outgoing, interesting and charismatic individuals. An orally aggressive person will speak loudly, enjoy chewing gum and chewing other things. An orally passive person will enjoy smoking, drinking, eating, and kissing!

Freud says you're stuck in the Anal Stage! The Anal Stage is the second stage of psychosexual development, spanning from the age of eighteen months to three years, wherein the infant's erogenous zone changes from the mouth to the anus. Toilet training is the child's key anal-stage experience, which can often be psychologically traumatic. People stuck in the Anal Stage will usually fall into one of two categories: anal retentive or anal expulsive. According to Freud anal retentive people are incredibly well organized, perfectionists at heart and generally very successful. Freud says you're suck in the Phallic Stage! The Phallic Stage is the third stage of psychosexual development spanning from 3 years of age to 6 years of age. During the stage Freud believed that girls were prone to develop what would later be termed an "Electra Complex" whereas boys were more likely to develop an "Oedipus Complex". In an Electra complex, a young girl competes with her mother for her father's attention. In an Oedipus complex a young boy competes with his father for his mother's attention. People stuck in this stage tend be very close to the parent of the opposite gender. There is also a tendency to assert oneself and strive for power and dominance.

Freud says you're stuck in the Latency Stage! The Latency Stage is the fourth stage of psychosexual development spanning from age 6 until the start of puberty. During this stage, Freud believed that sexual desires remain latent and children learn delayed gratification. This is the key stage for character building and self-desicipline. People stuck in this stage are generally hard workers with a strong work ethic and a tendency to delay pleasure. This can lead to sexual dissatisfaction.

Freud says you're stuck in the Genital Stage! The Genital stage if the fifth and final stage of psychosexual development, spanning from puberty through adulthood. The purpose of this stage is independence and detachment from parents. It is during this stage that people evolve into sexually mature adults with serious life goals. People in this stage are intelligent, mature, and tend to be realistic with a grounded perspective on life. Sometimes there's a tendency to be jaded or pessimistic. This is also the stage when many people experience unsatisfactory relationships, realizing that happiness can only be found within. You are wise beyond your years!
