This isn't Venice; this is the village of Giethoorn, in the Netherlands.

Sometimes called the Venice of the Netherlands.

Giethoorn has no roads, just canals. But the locals don't seem to mind.

I mean-it's a sacrifice, but I'll take it.

The villagers get around using whisper boats; boats with noiseless engines. Now if that doesn't sound magical to you, then I don't know what will.

Honestly, how do you move to the Netherlands?

No roads means no cars, no cars means no traffic. So Giethoorn is a pretty peaceful place.

With no road rage? Do they have boat rage?

I mean honestly, who lives here? Cinderella? Rapunzel? No one normal could live in this house. It's not allowed.

What happens in winter, I hear you asking? Oh, you know. The rivers freeze and everyone skates everywhere. Because this is the land of fairy tales. This is it.

Just skating off to school, casually.

Well, we're off to the Netherlands. To live in an actual Fairy tale village!

Sorry but nothing is ever going to be this beautiful.
