What kind of Ravenclaw are you?

Breaking into the Restricted Section because there's this book you've just got to read and at this point you've got your own copy of the key so is it really breaking in? Studying the Dark Arts because its still magic and who cares if you're not supposed to, that makes it even better! Creating new spells and potions and trying them out on unsuspecting victims (but nothing that would ever hurt them) Discovering all the secret passage ways and the short cuts in the castle in your first year so hiding from Filch is easy. Being best friends with the house elves so they help you smuggle alcohol to house parties and coincidently those are the best parties Ravenclaw throws. Playing pranks that rival the Weasley Twins, finding the Room of Requirement and it becoming their hang-out, befriending all the cheeky younger years and basically adopting them into the gang of mischief and then terrorising teachers, calling a truce with Peeves so that he can help them when he wants and always causing some sort of scene at an important event

May not be top of the class but can recite random quotes from all sort of books at any point and does so on a frequent basis. Probably knows more about fictional characters than they do about their own family. Compares friends to characters and looks a little naked unless their holding a book. Their bag is always ridiculously heavy and they walk at an angle because of the amount of books they carry around 'just in case they need them'. Has their own chair in the library where they spend so much of their time, everyone knows its their chair. Will always be able to suggest a book for you to read. Barely remembers their timetable but can tell you when the next books in all their ongoing series is going to be out. Might forget to eat sometimes because their book is so good and stays up all hours of the night just reading and so sometimes forgets about homework...but the house elves becoming attuneded to their habits and quietly bring sandwiches up to the dorm and leaving them nearby so at least they've eaten something

The best person to have around when the knocker won't let you in because they always have a new perspective to questions. Might be full of crazy theories but honestly most of them make sense when they've been explained. Spends so much time in the Astronomy Tower staring at the stars that its a miracle they don't do better in the subject but their attention span just isn't very good. Very emotionally intelligent, Peeves often leaves them alone because honestly they scare him a little, best friends with basically all the house elves and makes it their mission to knit them new clothes every Christmas, teachers know better than to ask them lots of questions in class because they won't get the answer they want but they always get their homework in with relative sanity. Kind of loves conspiracy theories and even has a blog on them when they finally cracked how to get around the wards so they could get some WiFi

Surprising talented at fashion, hair and make-up and helps everyone out when there is some sort of event to get ready for. Created spells for flawless make-up and fancy hair-dos, spends a lot of their time designing and creating outfits to wear to Hogsmead and on the weekends, has added personal touches to their uniform that are technically allowed no matter how many times they get told they aren't. Believes in all that 'body, mind and soul' work and so you can often find them up at 6 before breakfast doing their morning yoga with some sort of face mask on that the house elves helped them make. Always has a spare toothbrush/hairbrush/etc for any of the younger years who either forgot to pack theirs or for those who came from an orphanage and might not have those. Has limitless bottles of shampoo and facewash to lend people and educated all the younger girls on periods because there doesn't seem to be any classes at Hogwarts that helps them with stuff like this. Knows all the healthiest things to eat before a Quidditch match and is always on hand to mend robes or stitch up gloves when they get damaged

Does all those cultured things like visits art galleries and museums in their spare time, always has a sassy comeback at the ready so enter arguments/debates with them if you dare! Very culturally intelligent but sometimes a bit spacey when it comes to logical thinking, often can be found arguing with the knocker about the validity of their answer. Always got headphones in and humming along to something or another, probably plays an instrument, or tried to, only plays Quidditch for fun rather than for sport because they don't like competing. Has a flair for the dramatics that the younger years love giggling at and it becomes a bit of a thing where they try to imitate the dramatic entrances and exits that they've seen; this escalates until a drama club is started (which this Ravenclaw is made director of and it is very successful under their leadership). Has a very complicated coffee request so they often go down to the kitchens to make their own, much to the house elves dismay until they realise now they can be taught new coffee compilations and from then on there are always some crazy but delicious concoctions on the tables at breakfast that

There is no easy way to say it, this is your typical nerd, does their homework the minute they get it or months in advance if they can, already knows the majority of the syllabus before you've even had your first lesson, reads textbooks for fun, thinks History of Magic is fascinating (for some crazy reason) Help other people revise, creates spreadsheets and revision timetables to help people who ask because they just love to organise things, room is spotless all the time (except during exams when the mess is...everywhere) Surprisingly obsessed with TV shows because they're a good release and they've mastered watching TV and revising at the same time, always has highlighters just in case they're needed, found a lot of hidden places in the castle because they like the quiet when they can get away from people needed their help. The house elves sometimes get concerned that they don't eat enough but they will often find the student in the kitchens snacking while they eat or making tea to drink (they end up taking a kettle to the students room along with tea making things because of the amount of tea this student drinks) Loves all of school except Care of Magical Creatures and sometimes Potions because they're so hard to revise for! Its so much practical! How are they supposed to prepare? Its very stressful and they have enough stress as it is

You will never find them without their planner because it is the core to their life, there are always things to be doing, they are part of almost every club (and running lots of them) They are your go-to planner if you're trying to throw a party or an event, they always help out with even the smallest of things and to be honest they are so good at. They know every single piece of gossip, even before the people who it is about knows (not that they spread it and most of the time they kindly let the people involved know that it is going round) Friends with all the ghosts because what they know is so interesting that its worth the ocassional rant they have to listen to, has no problem with friendships outside of their house and frankly love having a mixed friendship group because its so great having a mix of people to hang out with, always stays home for holidays because they try to make the holidays of those who can't go home the best they can be, has a little group of minions who help them out and its so adorable seeing these little first years carrying out orders with calm but stern faces like its the most serious thing ever

The best storytellers in the whole house, always has a quill hidden behind an ear and a notebook tucked under their arm for ideas they get randomly, sometimes stops half way through a conversation because of inspiration, looses track of time a lot because they got caught up in their imaginary world, tells stories to the younger years when they get nightmares and can't sleep, homework doesn't always get done because they're too busy scrawling out pages of their new story. Can be found mumbling under their breathe what they need to write down, can probably tell you more about their fictional characters than they can about their friends, the bets person to ask for a name for your pet (they always have a bunch in reserve for characters they think up), ink stained fingers, sleepless nights, always copying up other peoples notes because their own are scattered with doodles and ideas that they really can't understand them. Has a huge to read list and so many un-read books but they either have no time to read them or they get inspired by the book their reading at it gets put by the way side while they write their own stories, squinting a lot because they read a lot, eyes hurting when they go outside because they spend so much time inside, they have notebooks dedicated to ideas, lines they have to use one day, half created characters, anything they can think of really
