This Girl Was Terrified Of Dogs, But She Faced Her Fears To Save A Life!

This dog was lying, injured in a school yard in Bulgaria when children started throwing rocks at it.

16 year old Anita Valkova is afraid of dogs. But she decided that she had to step in and save the dog. She waited by her side for two hours, but her dad didn't want the dog in the car. So she wrapped her up, and with the help of a friend she carried her to the vet.

She named the dog Alfeiya. The Vet cleaned her up-she had some minor injuries, and a bad case of mange, but otherwise was doing okay.

It took some convincing, but Valkova was allowed to bring Alfeiya home. Valkova was a little jumpy around her at first; she had never had a dog before!

But soon it became clear that Alfeiya was just a giant sweetheart!

Volkova says she can be a little naughty at times..

But she loves Alfeiya very much, and never regrets her decision to save her. Alfeiya has healed nicely!
