An Earthquake In Central Italy Just Took Down Half A City

Italy was rocked by an earthquake last night, so intense that it has decimated an entire town at it's epicenter.

The earthquake affected most of Central Italy, including Rome. It registered as a 6.2 on the richter scale. The city of Amatrice was at the very center of the event, and has been almost completely destroyed.

The Pope even dispatched Fireman from the Vatican to help with the rescue operation. 73 people have been reported dead so far, and rescue missions are still underway.

Our prayers go out to the families of those who have lost loved ones, and we hope that everyone else who has been effected by this tragedy will be returned safely home.
