What's The Best RC Helicopter?

These are all very good helicopters, which are controlled by radio for your first introduction to the hobby. They are (generally) less expensive, relatively easy to master in a short time, and provide more or less immediate fun.

The downside is that, as I mentioned before, they get boring after a while or at least what they can do with them (especially the variety of toys). They do not have the same solid fast flight characteristics as the pitch helicopters and are not able to fly in reverse, and they are all quite small, making it difficult to see when flying in the air at any point.

I should point out, however, that quads / multirotor from micro to large generally not too boring. Most can perform simple acrobatic turns and turns (there are even some fully acrobatic 3D quadrobes) and the larger ones are fairly easy to see and can fly fairly quickly (not as fast as the largest collection pass); and of course they are not "real" helicopters.

Because for many of us "rotor heads" we come into this hobby for our love / fascination with full-size helicopters and could not really care what the latest RC fashion is.

If you're the type of person looking for a hugely rewarding hobby, you want the kind of control and challenges that life-sized helicopters have, and you do not mind learning the complexity of single rotor pitch helicopters. CP machines will most likely be the best RC helicopter for you.

In other words, you can already appreciate entering the collective field more than the destination.
