This is Jung Myoung Sook. She has been rescuing dogs for twenty six years. Right now, she lives on a compound in South Korea with 200 rescue dogs. Two hundred.

And she's thrilled about it.

Sook isn't rich, but she buys dogs who are bound for restaurants and rescues them too. She's had to move seven times because of noise complaints.

Regardless of the struggle of taking care of two hundred dogs, Sook is happy with her life. She loves taking care of the dogs.

Says Sook, “Some people talk about me, saying, ‘Why is that beggar-like middle-aged woman smiling all the time(?)"-she's smiling because she knows the dogs aren't hungry, that they're safe with her.
