Mother Teresa was officially elevated to Sainthood on September 4th, when the so-called "Saint Of The Gutters" was canonized by The Vatican. But not everyone is thrilled.

Mother Teresa founded her own order of nuns which she ran up until six months before her death in 1997

Christopher Hitchens was one of Mother Teresa's greatest critics, accusing her of taking money from questionable figures and neglecting the poor that she claimed to care for.

Mother Teresa dedicated her life to serving the poorest of people, but Hitchens pointed out that when Mother Teresa was in need of medical treatments herself, she went to expensive American facilities rather than her own clinics.

To be made a Saint by the Vatican, two miracles must be proven to have occurred, but one is already being called into question. An Indian woman claimed that her stomach tumors were healed when she touched a picture of Mother Teresa to herself, but further inquiry has revealed that the woman was on a course of drugs. A former Nun revealed that Mother Teresa would instruct her Nuns to baptize people without their consent, on their death beds.

It's clear that amongst everything else, Mother Teresa did an incredible amount of good. Or is even one of these accusations enough for her Sainthood to be called into question?
