South Shore Quests: Any time, any day through Nov. 15. Developed by an all-volunteer committee, Quests are clue-directed walks through local parks, woodlands and public places of historic interest. Buy a Quest book for $5 and use it to find a hidden box containing a notebook, rubber stamp and ink pad. This year's edition contains nine new trails and six from past years.
