Scott Booth, Borussia Dortmund 1997-1999

Scott Booth followed in Paul Lambert's footsteps, joining Dortmund in 1997 after nearly ten years with Aberdeen. However, Booth struggled for first team action at the Westfalenstadion, being shipped out on loan to Utrecht and Vitesse Arnhem, before joining FC Twente on a permanent deal in 1999.

Murdo MacLeod, Borussia Dortmund 1987-1990

Murdo MacLeod was the first of a trio of Scots to turn out for Dortmund, joining from Celtic in the summer of 1987. He made 103 appearances, finding the net four times, before returning to Scotland with Hibernian in 1990.
