All Eyes On: Argentina vs. Chile, June 6th

Less than 12 months ago, these two storied teams met in the Copa America final in Santiago. Lionel Messi underwhelmed again, and the host nation pulled off the improbable victory. This time around, the teams are in the same group, and opening the tournament on a positive note will be absolutely crucial for both.

Make or Break: USA vs. Paraguay, June 11th

USA is hosting this year's tournament, and the pressure is firmly on them to hold their own against some of the world's best. The Americans will meet Paraguay in the final game of Group A, with both teams looking to qualify for the knockout rounds and give themselves some momentum going into World Cup qualification campaigns.

3

Key Player: Douglas Costa (Brazil)

We all know about Neymar, but what about the winger who will be playing on the opposite side of the pitch? Costa has been nothing short of dominant for Bayern Munich this season, and is capable of terrorizing almost any fullback in world football. Watch for him to be just as dangerous as Neymar in June, if not more so.

4

Breakout Star: Paulo Dybala (Argentina)

If you don't follow Juventus too closely, you still may not have heard of Paulo Dybala. I assure you, though, that he will be a household name before too long. The immensely-talented centre forward has been Juve's best player this season, and should not at all feel out of place alongside the likes of Messi, Agüero, and Di Maria.

5

Over the Hill: Radamel Falcao (Colombia)

Colombia comes into this tournament in very bad form, which is something Falcao knows far too much about. The formerly world-class striker may see this tournament as his final chance to impress, but it seems unlikely that he will make a serious difference. It would be a pleasant surprise, though, if he proved all of us wrong!

Dark Horse: Mexico

The CONCACAF powerhouse enjoyed a successful 2015, winning the Gold Cup and exceeding expectations in the Copa America. With Copa America being held in the USA this summer, expect each stadium to have the atmosphere of a home game for Mexico; there is an enormous Mexican population in the country. If other teams underestimate them, loud and supportive crowds could definitely help inspire the Mexicans to reach the latter stages of the tournament.

7

Winner: Brazil

Brazil undoubtedly has the potential to score four or five goals in any game, but their improved midfield and defense really set them up for success this summer. With defenders like Thiago Silva and Miranda protecting the back and midfielders like Fernandinho, Luiz Gustavo, and Lucas Leiva all being in fantastic form for their clubs, the team in yellow seem almost unbeatable.
