Three Bears Went For A Swim This Afternoon In A Pasadena Neighborhood

This afternoon, three bears, a mother and her two cubs, were spotted in a Pasadena neighborhood, sneaking into people's swimming pools.

The bears got hungry after being chased by a very brave family dog out of the first pool they tried, and decided to go dumpster diving for a light snack.

But soon the urge to take a cooling swim took back over, and the bears tried another neighbor's pool, this time also accidentally shattering a glass door.

The bears are now out of the way of most humans, however, and have been reported as being safe in a nearby tree.

The Department of Fish and Wildlife continues to monitor their activity and will attempt to extract them from the area after nightfall if they do not return to their home in the hills.
