There was a ghostly figure in the bathroom mirror

I couldn't find my phone and could hear voices then I realised I'd sat on it

There was a whistling noise down the chimney which sounded like a ghost

I could hear the voice of a child crying for help

There was a scuttling and some missing cheese

I was home alone and I could hear children running around upstairs

I had just watched Nightmare on Elm Street and was certain someone followed me upstairs

Sometimes I walk into a cold spot in a room

Even when the heating is on all the time
