You were in a horde of zombies/walkers and attempted to save your friend when zombies/walkers attempted to him/her, you are successful in saving your friend, but you are bitten in the process. You make it out alive but infected you are too nervous to tell your group/you tell your group that you are bitten. You either tell them to chop off the infected area/you tell them to put you down. If you chop the infected area off, you die from blood loss.
