Linda

Linda

Linda supports her husband Bob's dream through thick and thin. She has a joyful enthusiasm for whatever she undertakes, from dinner theater to synchronized swimming to road rage.

She is lenient and supportive toward her whole family, while still garnering their love and respect. She is especially kind to her unstable sister, Gayle, encouraging Bob to have a pretend affair with her to raise her self-esteem, and allowing Gayle to hang many anus-themed paintings in the restaurant.

Linda is substantiated by many bourgeois and motherly stereotypes. She is extremely outgoing, flamboyant, feminine, and has absurd obsessions with performing arts and dramatic tradition - she will occasionally take extreme measures to pursue these and make her family/bystanders join her in enacting this. She is also very extroverted and is often rambling or very talkative. She sings the most of all characters. In "Hamburger Dinner Theater", she lies to Bob, telling him she is going to Pickles while going to see a pirate themed dinner theater show. It is possible that Linda may have seen the show before, as she sings along with the actors.

She's always on the lookout for a surprise birthday party or unexpected anniversary present, and her faith in Bob is unwavering. She's prone to bursting into song after a visit to her beloved musical dinner theater, and though she thinks she's an excellent hostess, her blood boils when guests aren't willing to make small talk. Linda is a pushover, always being easily convinced by her kids to do all the work on their school projects, but she doesn’t think she’s a pushover. Louise in particular, can make Linda do whatever she wants. For example, she has her get the family together for a family meeting, to get her to be the kids swimming coach, and to sell Bob's espresso machine

Bob

Bob

Bob was born to an unnamed mother and Big Bob. His father had a drinking problem and ran a restaurant called Big Bob's Diner. Sometime in Bob's childhood, his mother passed away. Bob was rarely allowed outside and whenever he got distracted, his father would always tell him, "Get back to work, Bob." One day, while Big Bob was getting his prostate checked, Bob was manning the grill and made a burger for Henry, who was pleasantly surprised, but then Bob's father showed up. He got mad at Bob and threw away his burger. When Bob grew up, he left his dad with the restaurant to start his own. He first met Linda in a bar after she accidentally stabbed his upper lip with her engagement ring from her then fiancée, Hugo. The couple got married at City Hall[1] and had three children, Gene, Tina, and Louise.Bob is fairly tall and has black hair and tan skin like the rest of the family. His hairline is receding and sports a combover over a bald spot. He has a thick mustache. His ears are noticeably not visible despite his haircut not being sufficient enough to cover them.[2]

He wears a white T-shirt, grey pants and black shoes. When working in the restaurant, he wears a white apron.

His nightwear clothing consists of a white v-neck t-shirt, sky blues shorts and brown slippers.Bob is sensible and seems like a more normal cartoon dad. He does seem to try his best to run a great restaurant, despite being a terrible businessman, and tries to be a good father and husband even though he doesn't get much respect from his kids, and gets into struggling situations with his wife, Linda.

In "Human Flesh", he calls his kids terrible workers: "You all are terrible! I'd fire all of you if I could!" He himself is terrible at remembering dates, as shown in several flashbacks in Human Flesh. In "Sacred Cow", Bob gets very attached to a cow named, Moo-Lissa; when the documentary filmmaker who is protesting Bob's restaurant with his piece "Dial 'M' for Mooder" leaves her tied up outside the restaurant, Bob brings her into their home during a nighttime rainstorm. He is usually very calm, but can be loud if he needs to, and also seems to get annoyed or offended easily, as in "Hamburger Dinner Theater", he yells at a woman for asking to break a five when he had just been robbed. Bob has the tendency to anthropomorphize things around him. Making up voices for things. A good example is in "An Indecent Thanksgiving Proposal" where makes up voices for a turkey that talks him into drinking Absinthe.

In "Turkey in a Can", Bob gets asked by a gay/bi butcher to go out in which he replies: "no, maybe, wait, I'm straight, I mean I'm mostly straight" implying Bob is bi curious and may be bisexual.

Tina

Tina

Tina's personality in essence is a quirky girl transitioning from childhood to adolescence. The child in her still clings to her love for horses, rainbows, and zombies while her inner teenager calls her to fantasize about zombies making out, writing her feelings/activities in her diary, to write erotic fiction whether it be about friends or other people's works, and constantly think about her crush, Jimmy Pesto, Jr., along with anyone else she deems cute like an entire baseball team of twenty-five for example.

Like-wise Tina has little to no social skills. When voting who would serve a customer they thought was a child molester, Bob says they shouldn't let Tina serve him because she is bad with customers. Louise says that it isn't her fault because she's autistic, but they are immediately contradicted by their father. Whether she is autistic or not she still displays poor social skills whether it be her prolonged groaning when under pressure, hiding under tables, being a naïve, or taking things very literally.

Also, Tina doesn't show emotions or emote well. Even when times are rough and she's under tremendous amounts of pressure, her voice is always inflectionless, even her groans are disinterested. The only exception is when she crashes a car, lies to an insurance company (which she feels incredibly guilty about), and burns down a man's house is when her tone actually shows a little emotion from all the pressure she had endured thus far. After that she begins to emote better, a little more frequently.

Tina has quite a bit of confidence and self-worth. Initially, she conforms to the peer-pressure of shaving her legs, but regrets it when reflecting on how she did it for the wrong reasons. Then when discussing with her Dad on self-confidence she says that she believed that she was beautiful and became so and he should too. And to further attest to her self confidence, she considers herself to be a smart, strong, sensual woman.

Tina, like the rest of the Belcher family, has tan skin and black hair. She wears her hair in a bob style with uneven bangs across the front and a yellow barrette on the right side. Like her mother, Tina's eyesight is impaired and she wears glasses to correct the problem.

Tina's usual attire consists of a light blue t-shirt, a navy blue skirt, white tube socks with a red stripe, and black high top sneakers that resemble Chuck Taylor All-Stars. In more formal situations, Tina has a purple dress and black shoes. She sleeps in a light purple top with grey bottoms and occasionally slippers.

Her winter attire usually consists of simply a purple sweatshirt and scarf over her usual blue skirt, but in "Dr. Yap", when they are skiing, she wears a magenta coat and ski pants. When out at night in "The Land Ship", while playing Cupid in "The Gene and Courtney Show" and while at horse camp in "The Horse Rider-er", she wears long blue pants instead of her skirt.

Gene

Gene

Gene enjoys pestering everyone around him by using sound effects with either his Casio SK-5 keyboard or his megaphone. He frequently records fart sounds and uses them as sound effects and additions to his music. After eating lobster at Lobster Fest it is revealed that he is allergic to shell fish like his father, Bob. According to Linda, Gene takes after Bob more than he does her. In "Broadcast Wagstaff School News", he begins to dress and act like Bob when he accepts that he is destined to look like him when he gets older. Gene has a passion for flamboyant performance art and loves to tell jokes. He took the opportunity to act as a musician in the episode "Burger War" and performed at Jimmy Pesto's restaurant. In "Mutiny on the Windbreaker" he develops a confused feeling for a manatee puppet. In the episode "It Snakes a Village", Gene's phobia of snakes is revealed. He translates this phobia into a brief song about the fact that he does not like snakes due to their lack of arms and legs. In the episode "O.T. The Outside Toilet" it is revealed that Gene's zodiac sign is Sagittarius. He says it himself. In "The Unbearable Like-Likeness of Gene", he dates an annoying girl named Courtney but is conflicted when he finds out that her dad also writes jingles and could help him land his career. He writes a jingle demo for her birthday party and, after seething with frustration, Gene angrily demands Courtney to "just stop breathing". As a result, Courtney faints and is hospitalized due to her congenital heart condition. He later discovers that Doug has used one of his jingles in a silent muffler commercial.

In "The Gene and Courtney Show", Gene and Courtney find they have a great chemistry when they make fun of Ms. LaBonz's morning announcements. The two are chosen to do jingles for the morning announcements. They find out they like each other and briefly get together again, only to break up when their relationship interferes with their show. For the final day of their trial, Gene writes a beautiful jingle about their love. Gene denies that it was about him and Courtney. They share a Valentines day kiss.Gene has tan skin like the rest of the family and is also a little chubby. He wears a yellow shirt, blue shorts, and red All-Star Converse sneakers. When promoting the restaurant he often wears a burger costume. In the episode "Beefsquatch" he wore a Sasquatch mask with the burger costume. In earlier episodes Gene claims to peeing in his burger suit and follows this by saying "Wouldn't you want to buy burgers from a guy who smells like pee?"

Gene has also very frequently been seen in his underwear.

His nightwear consisted of a light green long sleeve top with light green shorts and occasionally slippers. From "Slumber Party" onwards they consist of a white top with sky blue sleeves and sky blue shorts.

He is generally perceived as overweight and, according to Gene, it was an ice-cream sandwich that initiated his weight gain.

Louise

Louise

Louise likes to mess with people who she thinks are idiots, especially her school's guidance counselor. She has a Machiavellian and controlling personality. Thriving on drama and adventure, she will go to great lengths to create them, even if it means endangering herself and her family. To exemplify her Machiavellian personality, she laughed at the sinking of the Titanic look alike cruise ship. In most episodes, she will manipulate people into thinking or acting a certain way. For example, in "Human Flesh" she starts the rumor about the burgers containing human flesh to her class and then continues to reinforce the lie throughout the episode. In "Crawl Space", she convinces everyone that Bob, who was stuck in the crawl space, was dead and haunting the burger joint; she continues even when Mr. Frond gets involved.

Unlike her siblings, Louise is incredibly cunning and intelligent for her age. She understands how to control a situation and get people to do whatever she wants. Even if she is blamed, she is usually able to charm herself out of the situation. She seems to enjoy causing pain and misfortune to others. She also likes to frequently slap people, either out of malice or possibly as a sign of affection. After she and Tina are caught hiding on a tour bus in "Boyz 4 Now", she slaps Boo Boo, a member of a boy band whom she had a crush on.

Louise often uses her intelligence to her advantage, especially for vindictive purposes. Nonetheless, she maintains a loyalty to her family, defending Tina against a bully, Tammy, on multiple occasions. However Louise occasionally is depicted to have a soft side, specifically she shows incredible affection to her father [1]. Underneath her cunning exterior, Louise has consistently demonstrated that she loves her family. A phrase she says often is "Son of a bitch!". She has multiple Kuchi Kopi themed objects, from night lights to radios.

Louise has black hair and tan skin like the rest of the family. She wears her hair in pigtails with yellow ties, and is almost never seen without wearing her trademark pink rabbit ear hat. She wears a green frock and black sock-less Mary Janes.

In "Ear-Sy Rider" she wore a blue hooded jacket with the hood up after her hat was stolen. She wears the jacket again with the hood down in "Ambergris" to conceal the ambergris.

Her nightwear sometimes consists of a light green shirt and 3/4 length shorts, and more often a light blue classic pajama set. She sometimes wears pink or yellow rabbit slippers.
