Jack Hoffman scores touchdown

Jack Hoffman suffered from a grand mal seizure and it was later revealed that the five-year-old had a brain tumour. Nebraska Cornhuskers running back Rex Burkhead arranged for Hoffman to feature in a game against Wisconsin Badgers and the young player scored a 63m running touchdown with the help of players from both teams.

Muamba returns

During the 2012 FA cup quarter-final match between Bolton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur, Fabrice Muamba collapsed on the field and had to be rushed to hospital where he was revived after his heart stopped beating. The retired footballer received a tear-jerking standing ovation when he took to the field in Ian Goodison’s testimonial match, which took place earlier this year.
