First of all, why did you join this secret society?

Where is your secret meeting place?

Is violence considered an acceptable way to pursue the society's goals?

What is the symbol of your society?

You see a fellow member of your society walking towards you on the street. How do you react?

What is the overall purpose of your society?

Finally, sum up your society's motto in two words.

The Freemasons

The Freemasons

You are a Gentlemen (or lady) and a Scholar! The Freemasons took inspiration from the Medieval Stonemason's guilds and the Secret Esoteric societies of the Ancient World. Established during the late 17th century, they included many well-to-do gentlemen meeting in secret lodges and discussing Enlightenment ideas. Freemasons took up the banner for Freedom in revolutions in America, France, Italy, and Latin America. People as diverse as George Washington, J Edger Hoover, and William Churchill were all Masons. You are a tolerant and progressive individual on one hand, with a great regard for tradition on the other. The Craft (Masonry) is proud to have you!

The Knights Templar

The Knights Templar

You are a Warrior for God! The Poor Knights of Christ and the Temple of Solomon were founded approximately in 1118-1119 to protect Christian Pilgrims on their way to the Holy Land. The Templars were some of the fiercest fighters on the Christian side in the Crusades and they even invented some of the first banks. But military defeats weakened the Templars and their power and wealth angered King Phillip IV of France and Pope Clement V. They declared the Templars heretics and devil-worshipers and had the order destroyed by 1314 (although they would influence practically every Secret Society after them). You are a pious and chivalrous individual, and yet a warrior without compare. You will ride for Glory and God!

The Hashishin

The Hashishin

You are a Deadly Assassin! Hasan-i Sabbah was a Muslim warlord living in Northern Persia during the 13th Century. He had many enemies but few soldiers, so he created a small force of incredibly loyal men trained in the arts of stealth and irregular warfare. Operating from the mountain fortress of Alamut, the Hashishin used espionage, assassination, and sabotage to undermine Sabbah's enemies (the word Assassin comes from their name). They were finally defeated when the Mongols overran the region, but even that is suspect. You are an incredibly loyal and devoted individual who uses skill and subtly, rather than brute force, to get what you want. You will bring death to the enemies of your lord and master!

The Thule Gesellschaft

The Thule Gesellschaft

Don't worry, I am not saying you're a Nazi (you might be, I don't know you). The Thule Society was one of many Esoteric-Nationalist groups in early 20th century Germany and was actually a splinter group that was founded in 1918 of another organization. The Thulists were both a political group, actively opposing Communism and "Jewish Capitalism"; and one of bored aristocrats dabbling in the Occult, Norse Paganism, and...ummm... Yoga. They established the National Socialist German Workers Party (the Nazi Party) to attract lower-class members who shared their political views in 1919 , it would soon be taken over by an Austrian ex-soldier named Adolf Hitler who would remodel the party in it's own image. The Thule Society fell apart in 1925 and Hitler banned any re-establiehment, but it would leave a lasting mark on Germany and the World. Your probably not a Nazi, but you are a ruthless and powerful individual who manipulates things from behind the scenes to get your way. The Black Sun Will Rise Again with You at the Helm!

The Thuggee

The Thuggee

You are a Proud Devotee of the Destroyer! The notorious Thuggee were a very old East Indian secret society, dating back to the 13th century according to some reports. Devoting themselves to the Dark Goddess Kali, the Thugs murdered travellers by strangling them with yellow scarfs and then buried their bodies and made off with their valuables. Storing their loot in shrines to Kali and meeting in Cremation fields, the Thugs were basically a religious cult of brigands who did all their work in the name of Kali. They were stamped out by the British in 1830, but Thuggee-esque killings continue in isolated areas of India even today. You are a sly and deadly individual with mysterious motives; whether you act out of a higher cause or simple desire for profit is know only to you. Kali-Ma!

The Skull and Bones Society

The Skull and Bones Society

You are a Gentlemanly... Party Animal! The Skull and Bones Society is the famous fraternity at Yale University and was founded in 1832. "Bonesmen" are usually upper crust (like Masons) and have included many distinguished Americans, including both candidates for the 2004 Presidential Election: John Kerry and George Bush Jr. While Bonesmen meet in an ivy-covered tomb on Yale campus and reputedly possess Pancho Villa's skull (and Geronimo's), they are more known for 'Animal House'-style antics than secret rituals. You are a fun-loving and fashionable person who never says no to a party if they can help it. Time to Turn Campus Upside Down!
