The Life of Men in the 1950's

During the 1950's when Men went to work at there jobs the outfit was almost always this. Everything from the shoes to the hat had to look professional and neat through out their work day. Everyone going to their jobs wore this.

The Teen fashion back in the 1950's is all about the hip things back then. This is what the teens came to school with everyday and it was the "cool" thing. The dressing was very formal but all wore at least one part on the piece. It was for guys to dress their best

Men thought it wasn't just healthy but mainly because they thought it was cool to smoke. None of them knew it was horrible but they kept doing it as a standard. It was something nearly every guy did and just couldn't stop,,, I wonder why.

The family life was the same all around. For the man the purpose was working and coming home to a wife who works in the kitchen and two kids. The man is the only one that works and does the "Hard" work.

The Man in the 1950's normally worked in an office. Everything from what they wear to how they get there was the same at work. The same was all the desks were all the same.

The "Man" is the big boss of the 1950's. He controlled everything and took advantage of it. The amount of respect he got was not what he gave. They saw themselves as the bigger person.

This is the kind of wear you'll use at a normal home day or hanging around with your friends. This was considered comfortable in the 1950. It costed lots to make yourself feel comfortable.
