In April, the sun and showers tend to alternate within weather trends, the temperature becomes steadily more enjoyable and the world appears to be just a little bit greener.

And you can add to that beautiful greenery by celebrating Arbor Day on April 28th. Plant a tree!

So, why plant a tree?

Trees clean out the air and therefore improve air quality and human health.
Office workers that have a view of trees from their desk can have less stress.
Just one larger tree provides enough oxygen for up to four people for a day.
Trees help cool the world - shady areas can be 20-45 degrees cooler than non-shaded.
Climate change effects are reduced by trees thanks to their carbon dioxide absorption.
Trees provide habitats to all sorts of animals that depend on them to survive.
Property values can even increase with trees in the yards!

So this April, go make a difference. Put a brand new tree in the ground, clean up a park or even just educate yourself. The sky's the limit - literally!
