Atletico's worst transfer... Pato Sosa

It is not easy to choose the candidate from Atletico Madrid as their worst LaLiga signing. However, it isn't due to their scarcity, but quite the opposite .
From Moacir or Avi Nimni to Jackson Martinez with Maguy, Pilipauskas and Dobrovolski in the middle, there is long list but there is one that does stand out and that is Pato Sosa.
The Uruguayan was unable to fool anyone and even on the day of his presentation he fell over when trying to show a trick with the ball.

Sosa, labelled the 'new Movilla' joined a mediocre Atletico side in 2004 and it was a spell when they made a series of poor choices in the transfer market.
He cost two million euros and played a total of 27 games in La Liga where he failed to score a goal or even make an assist.
Instead he did make some bizarre comments to the press including about Beckham where he said that as a footballer âhe never existed but as he is good looking they pay him to fight or have a video of him sleeping.â
He said of Figo: âyou barely touch him and he looks at you as if to say 'what are you doing'."
football is for men, not for little girls.â
