He's "half man half snake."
...He helps Ciel catch the sorta main bad guy using his snakes...
Snake is sweet and cares a lot about people, specifically Ciel.
Snake reminds me, personally, of a shy, quiet, child. He still calls Ciel, Smile from the circus days 'cause that was Ciel's circus name...

He ran from his failed experiment, not helping stop it and not caring weather people died or not.
eventually, though, after Ciel and Sebastian caught him they convinced him to help stop the zombies.
