Okonkwo
Okonkwo
You are a self-made, well-respected member your friend group. Your greatest, overwhelming worry is being lazy, unable to support your family, and being cowardly. Much of Okonkwo’s behavior results from a reactionary desire to be completely unlike his father. This means that Okonkwo attempts to work hard, provide for his family materially, be brave, and be masculine in every possible way, just as you would do also. From following your consciousness you will become just as or equal to Okonkwo’s success in many ways – as he becomes very wealthy, holds a high-ranked position in the community, has three wives, and is known for his skill as a wrestler and warrior.
Ezinma
Ezinma
Ezinma is Okonkwo’s eldest daughter and Ekwefi’s only child. just like Ezinma, you have a very close relationship with your mother, and are your father’s favorite child. you have an inborn confidence that outshines most of your friends. As you grow into tradition you tend to take after your family, and that's not a bad thing. Ezinma grows up more privileged and adored by many of her peers. Your deep love and respect for both parents goes way beyond a traditional relationship with your parents.
Ekwefi
Ekwefi
Ekwefi is Okonkwo’s second wife. Once a village beauty, she ran away from her home and husband to marry Okonkwo. Ekwefi, like Okonkwo’s other two wives, suffers quite a bit under his forceful and aggressive rule of the household. Regardless, Ekwefi is the most spirited of Okonkwo’s wives and frequently stands up to him and talks back just like you. Ekwefi’s history of loss and bitterness renders her a strong woman, capable of withstanding much pain and disappointment. This also leads to a sense of boldness in her just as you do. This kind of strength and boldness has something masculine about it, which emerges even more strongly in her daughter, Ezinma. We think Ekwefi might be Okonkwo’s favorite wife, just like Ezinma is his favorite daughter.
Nwoye
Nwoye
Nwoye is Okonkwo’s eldest son who Okonkwo considers irredeemably effeminate and very much like his father, Unoka. As a child, Nwoye is the frequent object of his father’s criticism and remains emotionally unfulfilled. Eventually, Ikemefuna comes to fill that void and Nwoye, in his adoration of his adoptive brother, begins to emulate him. Just like Nowye, you tend to go to your friends, cousins, or even your own brothers and sister to talk to about your problems. You tend to hold onto grudges which leads to a change in your life whether it may be a change in how you act, your perspective etc. But theses changes have helped you heal for the better.
