This Gap Kids Campaign Has Created Some Serious Online Controversy; What Do YOU Think About It?

When you think "Gap Kids" you don't usually think controversy, but recently the clothing line has come under fire for their newest "Back To School" Campaign

Those are some well dressed toddlers

Images like this one drew the ire of many twitter users, many saying that having a white child use a black child as an arm rest was "offensive"

The little girl doesn't look too pleased either...

This image in particular seems to have upset many, with people claiming that the picture uses sexist stereotypes

I mean, there IS only one kid wearing an Einstein t-shirt...

Gap has responded to the criticism with this statement; “The campaign’s theme was going back to school in comfort, both in your clothes and yourself. The Gap brand has always stood for individuality, optimism and creativity. Our intentions have always been to celebrate every child, and we did not intend to offend anyone,”

Some still feel that more debate on the topic is needed
