Sam Steingard is very fond of his cat, Ruby, and she's very fond of him too. So she got dressed up for the occasion.

Sam is a responsible cat owner, so Ruby didn't go to the dance because it would have been too stressful for her. They posed for some pictures and his sister put them up on Imgur. Since then, some internet users have had some fun.
