Meet Simone Manuel. She's swimming for Team USA in Rio and she just did something super awesome!
I mean, something ELSE awesome other than going to the Olympics
Simone just became the very first African American to win an Olympic Medal for swimming!
As you can see, she's pretty pleased about it!
She also broke an Olympic Record with her time for the Women's 100M Freestyle, coming in at 52.70 seconds! Congratulations Simone! GO USA!
That is one shiny medal!
